I'm a Big Cousin!

I'm a Big Cousin!
Until last week, I was the baby cousin. Now, My Aunt Brandy and Uncle Gary have a baby. She is my little cousin. Her name is Savannah Rae and she was born on Monday, July 21. She weighed 8lbs 4 oz-- almost my size when I was born! She is so cute. I got to hold her, too. Mommy took a few pictures when we went to see her. I am sure more will be to come.

While we were in Columbus, Mommy, Grandpa, and Grandma took me to the zoo. I got to see some animals we don't have in Cincinnati. Mommy put the pictures in my gallery for you. There are some of me being silly at home too.

By the way, I'm a big cousin now and I am going to be a big sister in March. I can't wait!

What's up world?

Hi everyone! Its been an exciting couple of weeks since my last post. I am just so busy having fun that I can't keep up! I am feeling better now, just had a 2 week bug. I am learning to talk better, too. Mommy and I have been very busy this summer. I even got to stay a whole day with my SuperCousin Abby while mommy and daddy worked. (Thanks SuperCuz... I had tons of fun!) So far we have been to the zoo a lot of times, the park, the aquarium, the playground, and the pool. Many more days at all of these will be to come.

I got a swing set in my backyard now. It is so cool. My next door neighboors gave it to me because they are too big now. It has 2 big girl swings, a little swing, and a double swing. I really wish it had a slide, but thats okay. I got it last night and I played on it right away. I played some more today, but then it started to rain.

I get to see my Grandma and Grandpa D this weekend! I can't wait!!! Mommy is putting up some new pictures of me, so check out the gallery. For now, its off to bed!

Check out my new ride!

Hi all! I got some new wheels yesterday. Thought you might like to see. I am not feeling so well today, so I look a little groggy in the picture. I can't wait to take it out in the backyard tonight.

By the way- like my awesome outfit? I picked it out of my closet myself. I have been asking for weeks, and mommy finally put it on today. She said it is not the right season, but let me do it today anyway. Who Dey!

Sorry the picture isn't the best. Mommy got a new "easy-to-use" camera yesterday (big thanks to daddy) so she doesn't have to haul around lots of stuff to take my picture. I'm letting her play for a few days until I show her how to do it right. I think she'll get it soon.

Boy do I have LOTS to tell you! I have been oh so busy now that the weather is nice. Mommy and I have been doing lots of landscaping and gardening. We are only about half done- if that- so we will take lots of new pictures when things are pretty and done.

I am growing so so fast. At my doctor's appointment last month I weighed 25 pounds 10 ounces, and I was 33 and a half inches tall. That means I am in the 70 and 90th percentiles (whatever that means). Mommy tells me I am growing too fast, but I think it is great.

I am getting so tall that I am too small for my crib. Mommy told me that at 35" I couldn't sleep in it anymore, so I get a big girls bed. I am so ready for it that I am going to be getting it early! Mommy, daddy and I went shopping and I got to pick out my own sheets and blankets. It was a lot of fun. Tonight we are having a big girl party, where we will all set up the bed and I get to sleep in it for the first time!! I think mommy and daddy are a bit nervous, but I know I can do it.

I am big enough to go potty, too. I have been playing around and trying for a few weeks now, but I have gone 3 times in 2 weeks!! I get really excited when I go on the potty, and then mommy lets me wear my new Princess Panties. It is really cool.

Oh, and I am also big enough for a bike- a real bike! Its a Fischer Price 10-inch bike complete with training wheels. I am just a little bit short for the full pedal motion, but it won't be long at all. Until then mommy and I are working on steering and balancing. I love to ride, and my favorite part is my awesome purple helmet. When I came in the other day, I kept it on my head just for fun.

I have really been learning too. I know all the signs and words in my sign language video. I can tell you a lot of animal sounds too. It is still difficult to get my words to come out right, but I am trying really hard. I am working on other stuff too, like puzzles and colors. (By the way- I have "blue" down pat.)

Well, its nap time and mommy has lots to do. I better go sleep so she can do some stuff. I will be taking pictures at my big girl bed party tonight, so check back later.

Easter Egg Hunt

I know Eater was almost 2 weeks ago, but this is my first chance to tell you about it. My Grandma and Grandpa D came down to see my new house. It was so much fun to have them here to play with. We did lots of fun things like going to Ikea and building with my blocks. Then on Sunday, Grandma and Grandpa K came over with Aunt Brandy and Uncle Gary... wow was that a lot of fun with everyone at my house!! I was so tired when they all left! When I woke up I got to go have Easter dinner and an egg hunt. It was lots of fun. My great uncle Russel and great aunt Kristi had an egg hunt in their back yard for me and my friend Annabelle. You can see the pictures in the gallery. We got lots of candy and coins. I put them all in my piggy bank. Daddy is going to have to empty it soon because it is so full! Grandma D hid some eggs with coins around my house on Saturday, and I put all of those in too! Whew!

After Easter we went to Gatlinburg with my great grandpa Kinsey. I got to meet my great-great aunt Dot and great-great uncle Marion. They came up from Georgia to see us. It was a fun weekend, but Grandpa K and I got sick. Then when we got home mommy got sick too. It has been a tough week, but thanks to Daddy and Grandma we are all feeling better. Hopefully we stay healthy for a long time now.

Now its April, so mommy and I are looking forward to the weather getting warm. Mommy and I have our garden tools and seeds ready, so we will start taking pictures of our gardens and lawn to show you all. Mommy is also going to do some real pictures of me soon- probably at the park. I will show you all soon! Hope you are all doing good too! See you soon!
