What a Trip!

Hi everyone!

I hope it’s not getting too hot wherever you’re at this summer. It’s been hot in Ohio; at least I think so because my head is always sweating because of my huge ball of hair on my head.

Last week, Mommy, Daddy and I had an interesting week. I went on my first ever road trip to Charlotte, NC and then spent several days up in Raleigh, NC. It was the week of my Aunt Lizzie’s wedding to my new Uncle Michael! It was fun because I got to stay in all different hotel rooms and explore all sorts of things. The air units blow all sorts of air on my face, it was cool.

Anyways, I got to visit all sorts of people that I can only remember hearing because I was in my Mommy’s belly. I met some people that were my size too. I first thought I was smallest person in the world until I met Hailey in Charlotte and Elizabeth in Raleigh. They were MY size. We had lots of staring contests and ate bunches of Cheerios. Good Times!

My big family was in Raleigh for the wedding. I got to see my cousins, Brynn and Callie, from Colorado Springs. We played in the hotel room with a Disney Princess ball and I pulled lots of hair; which Mommy and Daddy told me was not nice. :-0

It sure was a pretty wedding and I’m really glad that Michael is in my family because he is very nice and lots of fun. I didn’t spend too much time at the reception because it was way past my bedtime. I’m sad that I missed the party because Daddy said that Grandpa D and Grandma D were dancing fools. I never found Wham’s “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” a catchy tune, but I blame my Daddy for that.

Now I’m back in Ohio and I’m trying to get back to a routine. I can feel another tooth popping in and it should be here any day now. Another thing that I’m working on is learning to walk and more updates on that will be soon.

I’ll try to get Mommy to take some more pictures of me so you can see how big I’m getting.

Swimming Day

Hi everyone!

Aubrey has been learning so many new things that I can hardly keep up! This week she learned 2 new things: how to crawl and how to avoid the video camera. I tried to catch her new ventures on film all week, but every time I turned the camera on she stopped! I finally caught it on tape today, so we hope to have the video up tomorrow. There is another video coming soon, too, but I don't know how to do all that tech stuff.:)

Today Aubrey played in her own pool for the first time. I posted some pictures of this adventure in the gallery. She likes the water, but her favorite thing to do is gum the sides. Silly girl!

For all of our Charlotte friends: WE ARE COMING TO THE CAROLINAS! Yes, it's official. We are going to take some time to visit Charlotte before heading to Raleigh for Liz and Michael's wedding. We will be in Charlotte July 1 and 2. If you are around, let us know so we can plan a visit.

So Proud!

Hi Everybody!

I had a fun night last night, and I wanted to share with you! Last night mommy and I went to watch daddy play softball. With his new job, he gets to be a part of a lot of cool stuff, including a softball team. Daddy had never played before, so mommy and I had to go cheer him on. I am SO proud of my daddy! He did so good! He played right field where he caught the ball 3 times!!! He didn't miss it at all. And he hit the ball 3 times too, but the other team was so quick that daddy didn't get to score any runs. Daddy and grandpa's team lost, but I am still so proud of him.

He is going to play again next week, so maybe mommy and I will take some pictures to show you.

Well, I have a busy weekend coming up... I am going to see grandma and grandpa at great aunt Dottie and great uncle Hank's house on Sunday, and my aunt Brandy is coming to see me on Saturday.

It's Been A While

Hi everybody!



It's been a while since I've made a post because I've been doing all sorts of things. I've been learning to crawl! I'm not there yet, but it takes some time. I can get on my hands and knees in a football stance (Who-Dey!), but then I start rocking back and forth and then fall down on my face. It's been hard, but I'll be crawling hopefully by the end of the month.

Also, as you can tell by the pictures above, you've seen my new areas where I can play with my toys and other peoples toys. I have no idea what I'm playing with, but it is a lot of fun and makes a lot of noise to keep Mommy & Daddy on their toes.

My teeth are coming in and that wakes me up sometimes at night. I don't know what these teeth are for because I don't like to eat those Cheerios things, they're just fun to slide around on my high chair tray.Hope things are good with everyone! Daddy updated some pictures in the photo gallery if you'd like to see some more of little old me. I think he put in 6 galleries. So Enjoy!
